ASI Group: If you can think it…

Aviation Software, Inc. | www.aviation-software.net

ASI believes it offers the best software solutions on the market today in several wide-ranging industries, including the aviation industry where the company planted it roots over thirty years ago.

“Basically, if our clients could think it, we found ways to design and implement it. We still pride ourselves in client responsiveness and continue to build and prototype new software in-house, following strict guidelines and absorbing all development costs”
-ASI's founder and president, Gordon Rosen

Today the company meets the needs of customers around the world with customizable packages and unparalleled support to the aviation, transportation and postal communities covering every facet of Operations, Marketing, Maintenance and Engineering (M&E), Accounting, Tagging and Tracking and Capacity Planning.

With the success of its first product offering in 1981, ASI quickly established itself as a leading supplier of customized software solutions to the aviation industry. Shortly after, offerings were expanded to encompass other specialized applications software, including airlines, cargo carriers, MROs, FBOs, charter operators, parts suppliers, tour operators, logistics providers and postal administrations.

ASI's philosophy of ongoing development and product improvement is based on customer feedback and industry trends. To date, the company has installed over 1,500 modules around the globe, making it the market's leading independent applications software supplier.

Initial training and continuous support are provided to the software creator's customers through on-site training, 24/7 help desk support, in-depth user documentation, follow-up training and ongoing ASI hosted User Group meetings.

"Basically, if our clients could think it, we found ways to design and implement it." states ASI's founder and president, Gordon Rosen. "We still pride ourselves in client responsiveness and continue to build and prototype new software in-house, following strict guidelines and absorbing all development costs."

After three decades of operation, the multi-million-dollar firm boasts use of its software products on every continent and a product depth unmatched in the industry with over 60 distinct software modules. ASI's company history and list of accomplishments through the years lends testimony to their intensely held belief that they are the best custom supplier of innovative, time-saving, need-filling, cost-cutting software on the market today.

ASI working with APS to manage all aspects of interline baggage at Los Angeles Airport

In June of 2009, Aero Port Services (APS) announced the selection of Aviation Software, Inc. (ASI) as their interline baggage solution, managing all interline baggage handling for Los Angeles International Airport. ASI is helping APS to improve current interline partnership opportunities through revolutionary GPS and RFID integration for a true track and trace solution. Alert messaging, multi-directional communication and immediate data availability are also part of the new system.

The LAX project includes 43 airlines, totaling over six million bags annually. A strong combination of GPS monitoring, daily patrol by internal staff, and service level agreements work in tandem to optimize customer experiences and the overall baggage transport process.

The system's premier solution integrates GPS information and movement messages in real-time for intelligent decision support and went "live" in October, 2009.

"The addition of products for the airport industry is a logical evolution of our traditional efforts to offer any software solution our clients voice a need for. It also represents a new market for ASI and promises significant opportunities for future growth," said Gordon Rosen. "Our blend of technology with operations will add efficiency and accountability to the interline baggage operation."

Rave reviews highlight the company's software and service-oriented solutions

Recently, a representative of the U.S. Post Office declared, "ASI has, in my opinion, demonstrated a complete knowledge and understanding of the required Postal Service scanning and EDI requirements on behalf of their various clients. I believe that ASI...possesses considerable resources and capability."

US Airways stated, "... consistently received great service and support for all ASI's products and services to support our operations. The ASI team is dedicated to its customers and is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction as needed."

JetBlue paid ASI the ultimate compliment, when they said, "...We have been extremely satisfied with both the cooperation and the quality of work provided by ASI in support of our cargo and mail operations over the last few years. They are flexible to our changing needs which have been many as we are growing rapidly."

ASI and its team of programmers and support personnel proudly wear the mantel representing its long history of providing customizable packages and unparalleled support to the aviation, transportation and postal communities.

The company's multi-depth software offerings cover every facet of Operations, Marketing, Maintenance and Engineering (M&E), Accounting, Tagging and Tracking and capacity planning. And, with the launch of their first airport-based software product, they are bringing that same expertise and high level of service to the airport industry.

It is obvious that the company stands firmly behind the tag line it has embraced so fiercely.
